Coleman Hawkins and his Friends at a Famous Jazz Party Vol 2 (1958) [vinyl]

Enigma is a very apposite name for this record label: Personnel : unknown apart from indicated above, Recording date & location: unknown
But then the producer of the album "took great delight in confounding collectors and discographers, whom he regarded as the bean counters of jazz." Try googling "Boris Rose" for more information.

    Thanks for this. The sound quality can be significantly improved by copying tracks onto AUDACITY and edited through the stages CLICK REMOVAL, NORMALIZE and COMPRESSOR.

    This was ripped with Isotope RX3 advanced and declicked with that, The problem with normalising and compressing is that there is significant change to original sound quality.
    I never do that with my rips, I try and present what the recording engineers and musicians intended and simply clean up any vinyl deterioration... although I guess in this case it doesn't really matter as it's pretty awful to begin with!

    CD by the remarkable Freshsound label from Spain. The set is out of print now and
