Sonny Stitt - Tornado (1974) [vinyl>flac]

Back in February I was half way through preparing this rip as a request for Peer. However, before I’d finished Danair came good with one from an unknown source. Some weeks later after listening to this download I realised that my rip was much cleaner, so recently I decided to push on and finalise the project. This LP is a rare outing on a fairly obscure label. It features Sonny alongside “The Mixed Bag” with Eddie Russ on electric piano who also contributes two compositions. Personally I am an avid Stitt fan. Here he tries his hand at some classic jazz funk tunes. Natural High certainly sets the tantalising mood emanating out of the seventies. Using the cover scans from the download this new upload is now available to the Crypt, Enjoy!
