Hans Ulrik, born 1965, is one of the most highly esteemed musicians in Denmark. He worked and studied in the U.S.A. from 1984 to 1987, and has since then been based in Copenhagen, His music has a truly Nordic sound. His playing is powerful and the composing is melodic and accessible but never ordinary.
