The set really cooks on side one – which is an extended album-side jam called "Drag Em Out", played by Shirley on organ, with Roy Brooks on drums and Major Holley on bass. This sort of long open track is quite different than Shirley's other recordings, and she really rises to meet the challenge. Side two is more standard stuff - 3 tunes, with titles that include "The Song Is Ended", "Out Of It", and "The Second Time Around". © Dusty Groove America, Inc.
